This year marks 28 incredible years of recognizing the achievements of our remarkable keiki through our Outstanding Keiki program. Fifth-grade students from 5 west Oʻahu elementary schools enjoyed a day filled with fun activities, games, and art at the Salvation Army Kroc Center. The Outstanding Keiki Awards program, since 1997, honors the top students from Kapolei, Makakilo, Mauka Lani, Hoʻokele, and Barbers Point Elementary Schools. Upon graduation from high school, the Outstanding Keiki are eligible for scholarships through the Grace Pacific Scholarship program to help further their education.

A big congratulations go to our recipients, and a heartfelt mahalo go to their parents, teachers, and the Hawai‘i Community Foundation for joining us in celebrating their positive contributions to the community. We eagerly anticipate watching our future leaders grow and shape a brighter tomorrow for our island home.

Grace Pacific LLC, Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT), Hawaii Asphalt Paving Industry (HAPI), University of Hawaii and Hawaii Pacific University teamed up on Hawaii’s first Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) plastics project. Plastics in asphalt is the industry’s new and exciting platform towards greener roads. This project garnered both local and national attention (click on links below). 1,950 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt =195,000 plastic bottles were recycled into the road.

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Honolulu Chapter will be hosting several events for this Women in Construction Week March 5-11, 2022. The Honolulu Chapter of the NAWIC was chartered in 1965 to enhance the success of women in the construction industry. With membership reaching to other islands in Hawaii, NAWIC Hawaii became an official chapter in 2021! Their core purpose is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the Construction Industry. Join them for some fun events at various construction related sites.

HPM "Change Starts with Us"

Jerrod Schreck (President) and Myles Mizokami (COO) with the backhoe donated by Grace Pacific LLC to the Pu`uhonua O Wai`anae community houseless village. We are thankful that the leaders of Pu`uhonua O Wai`anae were inspired to create this special place and have the skills to lead their community the way they do. They have marshalled resources from a myriad of supporters, including Alexander & Baldwin and Grace Pacific LLC, but most of what they have accomplished is based on their dedication to each other. Also in the picture are James Koshiba and James Pakele, two of the inspiring volunteers/leaders that have made Pu`uhonua O Wai`anae what it is today. In the background is the first home built by the community as a prototype for the permanent housing community they plan to develop on land they acquired in 2020.

On August 19, 2013, Grace Pacific Corporation changed its name to Grace Pacific LLC.
